Quran /13- AR-R`AD The Thunder Revealed at Madînah /   Verse1         1. A (alif). L (lâm). M (mîm). R (râ). The sûrah opens with these letters from the Arabic alphabet to draw attention to the miracle of the Qur’ân, which, though written in the people’s tongue, cannot be emulated. These are divinely revealed verses of the Qur’ân distinctly indicating that all that has been revealed to you, Muhammad, is from Allâh. It is the truth guiding to all truth, but most people do not believe.
