Quran /13- AR-R`AD The Thunder Revealed at Madînah /   Verse3         3. He it is Who extended the earth, spreading it out for you to go east and west, and in it He placed mountains, fixed as with an anchor, and rivers with copious streams of fresh water, and of every fruit He produced a pair, male and female. He enshrouded the day with the veil of the night. Indeed, in the universe and its wonders are signs Allâh’s omnipotence and authority, which are sensed by those who meditate.
